OSC Requests Applications for Investment Funds Product Advisory Committee
TORONTO, May 31, 2017 /CNW/ - The Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) is seeking applications for membership on its Investment Funds Product Advisory Committee (IFPAC).
Established in 2011, the IFPAC advises OSC staff on product developments and innovations occurring in the investment funds and structured products industry, and provides feedback on policy and rule-making initiatives. The Committee meets four times a year and consists of eight to 12 members, participating for two-year terms. Members will propose topics for discussion to the Chair and lead discussion on the selected topics at IFPAC meetings.
Senior representatives with product development experience in the investment funds and structured products industry and other interested persons are invited to submit applications for membership on the IFPAC. For the 2017-2019 term, we are open to considering applications from senior legal, accounting and other professional advisors with relevant experience for a limited number of positions.
The IFPAC is currently chaired by Melissa Schofield, Senior Legal Counsel, Investment Funds and Structured Products Branch.
