American Jewelry manufacturers, retailers are invited to register here
RAMAT GAN, Israel, Nov. 5, 2013 /CNW/ - The second edition of the Israel Diamond Week in New York will be held November 11-14, 2013, on the trading floor of the Diamond Dealers Club (DDC) of New York, on 580 Fifth Avenue in midtown Manhattan. The event is a unique opportunity for jewelry manufacturers and retailers to stock up on diamonds toward the holiday sales season.
The event aims to boost trade between members of the Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) and the DDC, to renew business between local suppliers and their clients, and to lower the threshold for diamond buying jewelry manufacturers and jewelry retailers who wish to get access to the Club. The first edition of the Israel Diamond Week in New York was held in December of last year with 50 Israeli companies taking part. The success of the event is seen in the fact that some 120 Israeli diamond firms will be exhibiting at the second edition of the trade fair.
"The time slot chosen for this four days of diamond buying will give jewelry manufacturers, retailers and designers an excellent opportunity to replenish their stocks, as they all are giving their business another decisive push towards the Xmas holiday season," said IDE President Shmuel Schnitzer. "During the first half of this year, jewelry sales have grown some 10 percent compared to last year. That fills us with optimism ahead of the holiday sales season," he added.
Diamond buyers arriving at the DDC trading floor to participate in the Israel Diamond Week in New York will be able to access and view the stock lists of the diamonds available both from DDC members as well as of every Israeli diamond firm that participates in the event. This exclusive service is provided by IDEX Online, a leading international diamond exchange designed for professional diamond dealers and jewelers.
The unprecedented amount, variety, choice and quality of the goods available on the DDC floor during these four days of trading will enable diamond buying jewelers to find the diamonds they need at a time they most need them! This is an opportunity that should not be missed by those who can register and make it into Manhattan during the week of November 11-14.
