SMS group is a plant supplier to the metallurgical industry for steel, aluminum, copper, and other metals. It offers design, engineering, and manufacturing services, including designing new industrial plants, modernization and digitalization initiatives, and life cycle services. SMS engineers perform numerous complex calculations and simulations when designing and constructing plants for its clients, using MSC Marc and Mentat software.
