Opawica announces completion of private placement

VANCOUVER, March 15 /CNW/ - Further to our March 12, 2010 news release, Opawica Explorations Inc. ("Opawica" / the "Company") advises that the TSX Venture Exchange accepted for filing the documentation with respect to the $407,200 private placement effective March 15, 2010. Accordingly the securities issued in connection with the private placement are restricted from transfer until July 16, 2010, not July 13, 2010, as stated in our March 12, 2010 news release.
