Ontario Universities Come Together for Canada's Largest University Fair

TORONTO, Sept. 23, 2026 /CNW/ -- Ontario's universities will welcome thousands of students, along with their families and supporters, for the annual Ontario Universities' Fair (OUF) on Saturday, September 26, and Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 9:30 am to 5 pm at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, South Building.

As Canada's largest educational fair, the free, 2-day event brings Ontario's universities together in one place for students exploring their university options. Students and supporters can attend presentations and speak directly with university representatives, faculty and current students to learn about programs, scholarships, residences, co-op, admission and more. The OUF has everything students need to help them find the right university fit.

"The Ontario Universities' Fair offers students a unique chance to explore their options, speak directly with university representatives and get a firsthand look at what university life can offer," says Steve Orsini, President and CEO of the Council of Ontario Universities. "With applications from Ontario high school students to Ontario universities up 19 per cent since 2020, it's clear that more young people are looking to universities as a pathway to opportunity. Bringing universities from across Ontario together under one roof creates an exciting environment where students can make connections, compare programs and discover the many pathways available to them."

Pre-registration for the OUF is not required, but students are encouraged to sign up for an OUEvents Pass before the event. The OUEvents Pass allows students to quickly and easily share their contact information with the universities of their choice, so the universities can send them tailored information. Multi-faith and quiet spaces will be available. A smudging ceremony, offered by the Indigenous Post-Secondary Education Network and open to all, will take place each day at 10:30 am.

Those with accessibility needs can visit www.ouevents.ca/accessibility to request accommodations. Closed captioning will be available in presentation rooms, and American Sign Language interpreters will be on site.
