Employee Assistance Society of North America recognizes excellence in employee mental health support
TORONTO, May 16, 2018 /CNW/ - Morneau Shepell is excited to announce that Ontario Power Generation, a long-standing employee assistance program (EAP) client, has been awarded with the 2018 Corporate Award of Excellence by the Employee Assistance Society of North America (EASNA).
Entering its 14th year, EASNA's Corporate Award of Excellence recognizes companies that demonstrate excellence, innovation and the impact of EAPs in the workplace. Ontario Power Generation was honoured with this award as a result of its commitment to employee mental health as a critical component of organizational culture. Through its EAP, the company has increased employees' understanding of the importance of early intervention and the resources available to cope with stressors at work and home.
