TORONTO, Nov. 24, 2017 /CNW/ - Omega Securities Inc. ("Omega" or "the Company") announced that it is pleased with the decision by the Ontario Securities Commission ("OSC") to deny the application by the staff of the OSC for a temporary suspension of Omega's registration, following a hearing held at the OSC.
The decision comes with certain terms and conditions relating to the upgrade, disclosure and monitoring on Omega's trading platforms. These terms and conditions are consistent with those proposed by Omega to the OSC and based on Omega's own business improvement objectives.
"We are pleased with the outcome of the hearing," said Sean Debotte, President and CEO of Omega Securities Inc. "We believe this decision is reasonable under the circumstances and that the conditions can be readily achieved.
