MONTREAL, Aug. 19, 2014 /CNW/ - After corralling Québec City and the Quartier Dix30, the popular Jack Saloon is taking Old Montreal by storm. This time, the festive bar concept rises to new heights with an unequalled attention to detail. 262 St-Paul East, near Place Jacques-Cartier, will be the new temple of crazy cuisine, with powerhouse drinks and rock 'n' roll.
JS Vieux-Montréal is a "trashy" saloon with an edge, straight out of the imagination of Sébastien Ménard, Thierry Rickman and Ian Sévigny, owners, and designers of Surface Jalouse. Everything here is custom styled with a single goal: creating an atmosphere that will leave you breathless. Venturing into the world of the Jack Saloon Vieux-Montréal is like plunging into a film worthy of Tarantino. At the restaurant on the second floor you can eat well and enjoy a good wine in a unique setting with heightened imagery. The daring show bar on the first floor is dedicated to the glory of rock, with a stage for performances and a snack bar with audacious poutines and tacos.
Behind the cuisine of the JS is chef extraordinaire Dave Struggle Boudreau, who insists on only the finest ingredients. His menu strays far from the beaten path, and his creations keep winning prizes in Quebec and Canada. He serves up dishes that are simultaneously festive, gourmand, uncouth and elegant. The Jack Saloon Vieux-Montréal restaurant is a smokehouse and burger joint, offering revisited tartars and charcoal broils.
For this third Jack Saloon, intrepid new cowboys have joined the wild team: Alain Bernard (Director of Security for the Cirque du Soleil, Time, and Opera), Felipe del Pozo (publicist for the Cool Rebels Grand-Prix event; Société du Vieux-Port; TVA and Anne-Marie Losique) and Martin Ross (Manager of Christie's, Gaz Bar, Pinokkio and Radio Lounge).
The JS team is proud to wear clothes by Jack & Jones.
