Notice to the media - Government of Canada to make an announcement on mental health supports

OTTAWA, ON, May 6, 2026 /CNW/ - The Honourable Eleanor Olszewski, Minister of Emergency Management and Community Resilience and Minister responsible for Prairies Economic Development Canada (PrairiesCan), on behalf of the Honourable Marjorie Michel, Minister of Health, Anthony Housefather, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Emergency Management and Community Resilience and Maggie Chi, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Health, will make an announcement on mental health and psychosocial supports in emergency settings.
