TORONTO, Sept. 16, 2015 /CNW/ - Notable.ca is proud to announce the Ford Fusion Startup Lab, a spectacular multi-team competition that will pit the best young professionals and entrepreneurs in the country against each other for the chance to win one of three $10,000 prizes to fund their start-up in Montreal, Toronto or Vancouver.
Teams of two or three people can apply by submitting an exciting and persuasive video explaining how their idea is the 'next big thing' and why they should be selected to represent their city. Teams that meet all criteria will have their videos uploaded to Notable.ca for an open round of voting to decide which teams Canadians want to see compete for $10,000 to help fund their dream.
Taking place in Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver, teams in the Ford Fusion Startup Lab will compete in several business-related challenges over the course of a one-day, adrenaline pumping, thought-provoking race that will determine their savvy, skill, and commitment to succeed.
Think: Dragon's Den combined with The Amazing Race for a group of driven young professionals and entrepreneurs.
In three engaging episodes (videos) per city, teams will have to locate highly influential guests and prominent celebrities throughout the day who will offer advice and instruction, as well as test the teams and push them to their limits.
Teams must already have complete ownership of an existing business or an exciting and entirely new idea they can't wait to get started on. They must also have a valid driver's license, and be willing to explain how they would spend the $10,000 on their potential business.
