Following a record-breaking year of sales in 2009, GemThane Wood Siding has upsized into a 77 000 square foot facility, giving GemThane the largest wood siding plant in North America. The move will boost the company's production capability by 500%, allowing them to meet surging demand for their products.

The company's products have caused a stir in the cottage building industry. Coated with a marine-grade polymer instead of regular paint or stain, their pre-finished wood siding and decking is virtually impervious to the elements.
