Nomination deadline fast approaching for Oilweek's 2010 Class of Rising Stars

CALGARY, Dec. 9 /CNW/ - Oilweek magazine, Canada's oil and gas authority, is seeking nominations for its third annual class of Rising Stars - those men and women working in the oil and gas industry in Canada who are on track to become captains of the industry over the next few years.

From nominations submitted online, Oilweek's editorial team will select the best and the brightest to be its Rising Stars, Class of 2010. Candidates will be selected based on professional achievements, workplace accomplishments, experience, leadership, and community involvement. Nominations welcome for individuals 18 to 45 years of age.

The magazine will profile its 20 Rising Stars - earth scientists, financial wizards, legal whiz-kids, the elite of the engineering world - in its May 2010 edition, and will celebrate their accomplishments at an industry reception in June 2010.
