SCOTTSDALE, AZ, Aug. 28, 2014 /CNW/ - NOHO, Inc. (OTCBB: DRNK), purveyors of the NOHO anti-hangover and premium lifestyle beverages, said in a statement that it has been made aware of a lawsuit filed against the Company by Mr. Todd Blatt and TCB Partnership, a former distributor of the Company who was terminated in 2013 on the basis of non-performance.
"We are very disappointed to learn of the lawsuit that was recently filed, but we are confident that the claims are completely frivolous and utterly lack any merit whatsoever. Todd Blatt, a former distributor of the Company who was terminated for nonperformance, has never been a 'co-founder' of the Company and has never been a part of the Company's management or its Board of Directors. The Company adamantly attests that Mr. Blatt's statement that he was a 'co-founder' of the Company is not only defamatory, but it is grossly misrepresentative of the truth. Mr. Blatt's false statements and meritless allegations have damaged the Company significantly and form the basis for an actionable claim against Todd Blatt and TCB Partnership. It's always the people that do nothing that expect the most. While we intend to vigorously defend the Company in this matter and explore all available remedies, including counterclaims, the Company's Board of Directors and management team remain focused on developing the NOHO brand and strengthening the Company's market share in the functional and lifestyle beverage industries," said Jay Grdina, Chief Executive Officer of NOHO, Inc.
