Recently announced to join the Canadian line-up, the 2015 Nissan Micra will make its Ontario debut
MISSISSAUGA, ON, Jan. 23, 2014 /CNW/ - On February 13th, the all-new Nissan Sport Sedan Concept and Nissan Sentra NISMO Concept will make their national debuts at the Canadian International Auto Show (CIAS) in Toronto this February - providing a glimpse into the future design potential within the Nissan brand.
Also expected to be a show highlight, the 2015 Nissan Micra makes its first appearance in Ontario, after it was announced last month it would return to Canada after 21 years. It promises to mark a new era of unbeatable value in Canada when it arrives this spring combining Japanese quality and European style with options and features specific to Canada.
"Nissan's commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovation will be demonstrated at this year's Canadian International Auto Show, giving Canadians the opportunity to see Nissan's future design and performance vision right next to our current line-up," said Christian Meunier, President, Nissan Canada Inc. "With Micra, it is rare for a high-volume car to come to Canada without a presence south of the border, so we are very excited to bring Canadians something just for them, designed specifically for their needs,"
Expanding the extremely popular Versa line-up, the Nissan Versa Note SR will make its first Canadian appearance, showing the next evolution in subcompact styling.
About the Nissan Sport Sedan Concept:
The Sport Sedan Concept makes its way north after being named the Detroit Auto Show's Best Concept by AutoWeek. A design study with a particular emphasis on next-generation design and sporty style, the Nissan Sport Sedan Concept was created to embody the essence of a true sports sedan - that rare execution of 4-door sedan with the aura of a real sports car. It previews a future production vehicle intended for owners with a passion for cutting-edge design and driving dynamics. More information and photos can be found HERE.
About the Nissan Sentra NISMO Concept:
The Sentra NISMO Concept is built on the solid foundation of the latest generation Nissan Sentra, but injects increased performance and design tuner elements into the mix. Among the Sentra NISMO Concept's many departures from a production 2014 Sentra are its race-inspired exterior with enhanced aerodynamic performance, NISMO-tuned suspension, steering and transmission and engaging motorsports-style cockpit. About the 2015 Nissan Micra:
After 21 years, Micra is returning to Canada. In spring 2014, the all-new 2015 Nissan Micra will go on sale at Nissan dealers across the country. While Micra is the Japanese city car that grew up in Europe, the Canadian version has been exclusively tailored and fine-tuned for this country. In fact, with the introduction of Micra, Nissan becomes the only mainstream automotive brand to offer a high volume vehicle in Canada that is not available in the United States. The primary innovation offered by Micra can be summed up in two words: unbeatable value. Regardless of grade level, Micra gives owners more value, more fun and more attention to detail then they'd expect from an entry-level vehicle.
