MISSISSAUGA, ON, Nov. 1, 2013 /CNW/ - Nissan Canada Inc. today reported its best October on record with sales of 8,471 units in Canada, an increase of 33.1 per cent from the same month last year. Calendar year-to-date sales are up 8.7 per cent with 77,455 units sold as of month end.
Nissan division reported best October sales ever with 7,696 deliveries, up 36.6 per cent, led by strong demand for its 5 core models, Versa, Sentra, Altima, Rogue and Pathfinder. Demand for Nissan's truck and cross-over line-up remained strong with Pathfinder sales jumping 436 per cent over last October.
Infiniti Division reported 775 deliveries, an increase of 6.3 per cent over 2012 with the all-new Q50 sports sedan selling 251 units this month.

NISSAN HIGHLIGHTS:
- Nissan Division reported sales of 7,696 units, up 36.6 per cent from last year and its best October sales ever
- Nissan Rogue set an October sales record with 1,231 units sold, a 24 per cent year-over-year increase
- Nissan Titan had its best month ever with 519 units sold, up 45.8 per cent over the same month last year
- The Versa was the most popular Nissan this month with sales of 1,424 units
- Sales of Pathfinder jumped 436 per cent year-over-year with 938 units delivered and its strongest October sales in over a decade
- Sentra and Altima sales increased 118.1 and 10.8 per cent this month with 1,178 and 932 units sold, respectively
- Nissan NV200 compact cargo van reported sales of 86 units
INFINITI HIGHLIGHTS:
- Infiniti sold 775 units, up 6.3 per cent over 2012
- Sales of the all-new 2014 Infiniti Q50 sports sedan totaled 251 units contributing to a combined total of 292 deliveries for the former "G" family
- Sales of QX60 remained strong with 271 units sold, up 32.8 per cent over last year
