MISSISSAUGA, ON, Dec. 3, 2013 /CNW/ - Nissan Canada Inc. today reported its best November on record with sales of 7,200 units, an increase of 19.8 per cent from the same month last year. Calendar year-to-date sales are up 9.5 per cent with 84,655 units sold as of month end.
Nissan division reported its best November sales ever with 6,491 deliveries, up 19.9 per cent. Leading sales this month were the popular Nissan Versa and Rogue, up 74.8 and 23.2 per cent, respectively. November sales of both the Nissan Pathfinder and Frontier were the best on record with 938 and 339 units delivered, respectively.
Infiniti Division reported 709 deliveries, an increase of 18.8 per cent over 2012 with the all-new Q50 sports sedan selling 241 units this month.
"Our efforts focused on bringing the right products to Canadian consumers as well as engaging our dealer partners, have resulted in four consecutive months of record sales," said Christian Meunier, president of Nissan Canada Inc. "With the momentum we've built, we are on track to achieve our strongest year ever in Canada."
NISSAN HIGHLIGHTS:
- Nissan Division reported a November sales record of 6,491 units, up 19.9 per cent from last year
- The Versa was the most popular Nissan this month with sales of 1,243 units, an increase of 74.8 per cent over November 2012
- Nissan Pathfinder had its best November ever with 938 units sold, up 38.3 percent from the same month last year
- The Frontier pick-up truck also reported a November sales record of 339 units
- Nissan Rogue sold 1,183 units, a 23.2 per cent year-over-year increase
- Nissan NV200 compact cargo van has its strongest sales month since joining the line-up with spring with 112 units delivered
INFINITI HIGHLIGHTS:
- Infiniti sold 709 units, up 18.8 per cent over 2012
- Sales of the all-new 2014 Infiniti Q50 sports sedan totaled 241 units contributing to a combined total of 272 deliveries for the former "G" family
- Sales of QX60 remained strong with 245 units sold, up 12.9 per cent over last year
