Nissan Group reports February 2014 Canadian sales

MISSISSAUGA, ON, March 3, 2014 /CNW/ - Nissan announced today total Canadian sales for February 2014 of 6,804 units, an increase of 20.7 per cent compared to last year, with the company and both the Nissan and Infiniti brands recording their best February ever. The Nissan brand sold 6,009 units, up 22 per cent with the Infiniti brand up 11.8 per cent with 795 units sold over the same period last year.

Nissan Division February highlights:

• Nissan Division set a February record with 6,009 deliveries, an increase of 22 per cent over the prior year.
• Rogue crossover sales also set a February record with 1,737 units sold, up 70 per cent from February 2013.
• Best February on record for both Frontier and Titan, with year-over-year sales increases of 104.7 and 43.6 per cent, respectively.
• Sales of Pathfinder increased 24 per cent this month with sales of 538 units.
• The all-electric Nissan LEAF had its best February ever, with 64 units sold, up 73 per cent over February 2013.
