~ World-renowned photographer, Barker, partners with Mimeo Photos to drive brand's creative direction ~
NEW YORK, Sept. 19, 2018 /CNW/ -- Mimeo Photos, today, is delighted to announce world-renowned photographer and industry icon, Nigel Barker, as its new Creative Director. The fashion photographer, filmmaker, and author will be featured in an upcoming multi-media campaign effective immediately.
"I'm extremely excited to be representing Mimeo Photos and working with their team as Apple steps out of the photo project space," said Barker. "Having created a number of photobooks with Apple Photos over the years, I switched to the Mimeo Photos app and discovered that the themes and quality were identical to Apple Photos. In fact, I was so impressed with the app I contacted Mimeo directly and asked to become involved!"
Mimeo Photos is dedicated to providing premium quality photo projects to its users across the World. As a longtime creator and fan of Apple Photobooks, Nigel Barker is the ideal ambassador to provide his expertise to users looking to create their own series of photobooks, cards, and calendars.
"I believe every photographer should have the ability to showcase their work and not just for a moment or a social media post, but for prosperity," Barker continued. "A stunning Mimeo Photobook allows for just that."
Replicate Products for Apple Photos Users
This announcement comes shortly after Mimeo Photos unveiled itself as Apple's longtime partner for the creation of print photo projects. "We look forward to collaborating with Nigel on a number of projects including the creation of exclusive Barker photobook themes available only through our app."
In addition to launching the new partnership between Mimeo Photos and Nigel Barker, the brand will provide a photo project conversion service for Apple Photos users.
