TORONTO, June 25, 2013 /CNW/ - Under the Dome captivated 2.1 million viewers (Ind. +2) on Global, easily winning the #1 entertainment program of the night for both 2+ and Adults 18-49, nationally.
UNDER THE DOME JUNE 24th DATA HIGHLIGHTS:
- Under the Dome had 904,000 viewers in the key A18-49 demographic
- Under the Dome had 2,085,000 million viewers (Ind. 2+)
Viewers tuned in by the millions to catch the series premiere of Under the Dome, based on the book by Stephen King. Viewers watched as the sleepy town of Chester's Mill was suddenly cut off from the rest of the world by a giant invisible dome, leaving residents trapped inside with unanswered questions and their darkest secrets.
Next week on Under the Dome ("The Fire" - Monday, July 1 at 10pm ET/PT) - People panic when a house catches fire in Chester's Mill and the firefighters are unable to respond because they are outside of the dome.
Viewers who missed last night's premiere of Under the Dome can catch an encore broadcast on Global on Sunday, June 30 at 9pm ET/PT.
