New Eco-Business Zone Alliance Forms in Ontario

TORONTO , Oct. 14 /CNW/ - Eco-Industrial Solutions of Vancouver is pleased to announce it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with two Toronto-based firms to create the Eco-Business Zone Alliance in Ontario. The Alliance includes the Sustainable Learning Centre, the Innovolve Group and Eco-Industrial Solutions.

Under this agreement, the three firms will collaborate to bring to market a holistic solution featuring eco-industrial strategies, communications and training, all with a view to transforming employment lands into Eco-business zones. For businesses, rising costs related to energy, water and waste are driving eco-business approaches to find efficiencies within and across organizations, gain competitive advantage and maintain shareholder confidence. There are also regional branding benefits to be gained once an Eco-business zone is up and running. With provincial drivers such as the Green Energy Act and Places to Grow, communities are supporting eco-business zones to help local businesses grow and expand sustainably, and to attract new, progressive businesses and green jobs.
