WINNIPEG, April 16, 2012 /CNW/ - Great-West Life today introduced an innovative mobile application that gives registered members of GroupNet™ for Plan Members added service and convenience.
The new app, GroupNet Mobile, provides secure mobile access to personalized coverage information, allows online submission of healthcare claims, and provides the location of the nearest healthcare providers with access to Great-West Life's Provider eClaims through a built-in GPS-based mapping tool.
"GroupNet Mobile responds to the growing number of smart phone owners who use mobile devices to manage a wide range of personal information," said Brad Fedorchuk, Vice-President of Group Marketing, Great-West Life. "This app builds on the convenience of GroupNet for Plan Members, which brings together the information and tools plan members need in a secure, easy-to-use website."
GroupNet Mobile enhances Great-West Life's innovative suite of eClaims services - Member eClaims, Provider eClaims and Health SolutionsPlus - which allows plan members and healthcare providers to manage claims and accounts online without filing paper forms.
GroupNet Mobile follows the company's launch in 2011 of DrugHub, an app that allows consumers to manage their prescription medications wherever they are. Both can be downloaded free from the App Store online store.
