New Acquisio Management Changes Designed To Drive Growth in the Marketing Technology Space

MONTREAL, July 28, 2015 /CNW/ -- Acquisio, a world leader in programmatic marketing solutions, has made some big changes to its executive team with the introduction of new Executive Chairman, Alex Blum, and newly appointed CTO and CRO.

Acquisio's New CRO

David McIninch, who joined Acquisio as the VP of Marketing, will now capitalize on his sales experience to drive sales, marketing and account management forward as the Chief Revenue Officer.

David McIninch brings nearly 15 years of marketing and leadership experience to Acquisio. The newest member of the Acquisio management team, David spent the better part of the last decade in marketing, sales and leadership roles at ADP both in Canada and most recently as the VP of Marketing for ADP's Global Enterprise Solutions division.

Acquisio's New CTO

Richard Couture, one of the co-founders of the company, has now moved from an EVP PaaS role to CTO, and with run the new agile environment within the Acquisio workforce, development is moving faster than ever to release more upgrades, products and services to help both large scale agencies and local SMBs improve their digital marketing campaigns.  

Richard Couture is a Marketing Technology Solutions expert who had more than a decade of experience in the Information Technology sector before co-founding Acquisio back in 2004. He holds a Master's Degree in Software Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems from the Universite du Quebec a Montreal.

"I'm excited to step into my new role at Acquisio," says Richard Couture. "I've been helping to build the Acquisio platform for the past decade and now I'm prepared to take a more aggressive role in moving the company forward at this crucial point. Acquisio's New Executive Chairman

Alex Blum has been named Executive Chairman at Acquisio to work alongside CEO Marc Poirier. Mr. Blum brings additional strategic direction and operational expertise to Acquisio to support its growth agenda.  

Alex is an Investor and Advisor to technology companies across numerous high growth sectors. Previously the CEO of KickApps, an Enterprise Social Media software solution provider, prior to its acquisition by Piksel (formerly KITD). While at KickApps, Alex helped incubate Admeld, an innovative ad-tech company, and served as a Board Member until its acquisition by Google. Prior to joining KickApps, Alex was President and COO of JumpTV, a Multi-Cultural Internet Protocol Television Network through the company's successful IPO. Alex also spent nearly eight years at AOL most recently as the Vice President of Product Marketing for AOL's Audience business.
