Nature's Bounty® Vitamins Wants Canadians' Help to "Share the Bounty"

WINNIPEG, Manitoba, Jan. 29, 2014 /CNW/ - Nature's Bounty® Vitamins is pleased to announce the return of its "Share the Bounty" $100,0000 Charitable Giveaway, designed to recognize the important work of Canadian charities that are dedicated to promoting health and wellness. Canadians are invited to participate in choosing the charities that will "Share the Bounty."

"We introduced Nature's Bounty vitamins and supplements to the Canadian market only five years ago and Canadians across the country have embraced our products with enthusiasm," said Carlson Teakle, Vice-President of the Canadian division of Nature's Bounty. "Share The Bounty is our way of giving back and saying thank you. We will be making a combined donation of $100,000 to many different registered Canadian charities. The really fun part of the campaign is that everyone can get involved by voting for their favorite."

From January 29 through April 8, 2014, Canadians are encouraged to visit www.sharethebounty.ca each day to vote for their favorite registered Canadian charities. The more votes a charity has the more chances it has to win one of the cash donations.

There are three major prizes available to be won in each of the three categories: Wellness; For the Kids; and Animals & Earth. Charities that garner the most votes in each category will be awarded first ($15,000), second ($10,000) or third ($5,000) place prizes. Additionally, there will be two weekly winners who will be selected at random to choose one of the nominated charities to receive a one-time, $500 cash donation.
