MISSISSAUGA, ON, Feb. 8, 2012 /CNW/ - Online energy retailer MyRateEnergy.ca applauds Bell's Let's Talk Day initiative and has donated funds to the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health Foundation.
MyRateEnergy.ca supports causes that improve the well-being and lives of Canadians.
Bell Let's Talk is a national campaign that invites all Canadians to talk about mental illness. It is intended to facilitate "open and honest discussion of how mental illness impacts each of us [and] is crucial to driving the awareness, acceptance, and action needed to make a real difference in mental help" says six-time Olympic medalist Clara Hughes.
MyRate's donation to the CAMH Foundation allows for advances in clinical care and research and "is forging a path in eradicating the stigma associated with addiction and mental illness".
Since 2009, Canadian-owned MyRate Energy has offered residential and commercial customers in Ontario low natural gas rates and electricity price protection. The equipment protection program is the latest addition to their home services line-up. For more information, visit www.MyRateEnergy.ca.
