Expands distribution of its Multiplaz 3500 to 40+ US states, 5 Canadian provinces, Mexico
SANTA MONICA, Calif., May 22, 2012 /CNW/ - Multiplaz North America announced new "super distributor" agreements for the North American continent. Multiplaz CEO, Patricia Lewis-Hansen, stated, "We have made major inroads in getting HD Supply's White Cap Construction stores to begin marketing our system. They are uniquely positioned in a difficult economic climate with their fingers on the pulse of construction, the major jam in the current economy. We know Multiplaz 3500 applications apply to many trades in construction such as HVAC, plumbing, etc., and HD Supply is positioned to grow our product line internally from the construction division to their other successful divisions."
In addition to signing HD Supply White Cap Construction stores, Multiplaz is available at the Matheson Tri-Gas owned Lindweld chain based out of the Midwest. Lewis-Hansen said, "Lindweld is very well respected in the Midwestern market. We added them to our website in March to help with the ongoing calls for welding dealers all over the Midwest. The Lindweld chain of stores is managed by very bright people, dedicated to solid CSR relations. They will not randomly sell product without training, and are officially training the end of May and into June. Finally, the "show me" Midwestern customers can see the product and call Multiplaz N.A. direct with their Lindweld representative with questions."
Lewis-Hansen went on to say, "White Cap Construction has made it their business to understand their customer business models, and will be able to identify potential Multiplaz 3500 customers within their current base, with training underway in June. Lindweld knows the Midwest welding market, and offers consumables such as rods needed for the Multiplaz 3500, which uses non-proprietory rods. Both distributors provide a strong customer credit module which facilitates purchases in this current economy. I am sure they will enjoy a new stream of customers created for welding and cutting by the safety of the Multiplaz 3500 system."
In Mexico, a unique market, Industrial Connect Mexico S. de R.L. de C of Mexico City has taken to distributing the Multiplaz 3500 product throughout and are completing introduction at major trade shows for metalworking. They are seeing strong interest in Multiplaz capabilities and continue to work strategically to get the product to this very diverse market.
The Multiplaz 3500 "Feel today the technology of tomorrow" system has been selling for nine years worldwide, and is arguably considered to be the most advanced technological plasma welding and cutting device credited to its usage of alcohol and water welding versus inert gas, portability of 30 pounds all-in, and a price tag of $1995USD. Comparable technology capabilities are calculated to cost at least $4000USD, depending on specific set-up. Confused by welders as being a household welding and cutting tool because of its compactness and safety, the system continues to belie beliefs of industrial welder users, when learning of its 14,400 Fahrenheit temperature capability with simple alcohol and water. Technique is in short supply within the welding trades with new products, as generally the industry group tends to stay with what is known, and is not welcoming of purported high tech methods. All other industries charged with "getting things done" are embracing the Multiplaz 3500 cleaner way to weld, cut and complete projects.
Earning a Grand Prix Award from the Swiss 26th World Invention Show and holding international process patents, including North America, the Multiplaz plasma cutter torch utilizes water, unlike air plasma cutters which create a toxic pollutant nitrogen oxide. In turn this eliminates costly exhaust systems required for North America and Europe, while creating a green plasma welding breakthrough eliminating toxic fumes and generating oxygen. Jobs in unventilated areas can now be performed safely.
Lewis-Hansen said, "Multiplaz represents a leap forward for a toxic industry. At a time when the industry is struggling to recruit younger people to what seems an undesirable career, the Multiplaz technology will encourage them, and is a breath of fresh air literally. Worldwide, that is good overall for mankind. We continue to be excited introducing this new clean level to the welding industry."
