MTS Launches Great New Features for its Ultimate TV Service

Winter Sports Picks, Galaxie Access, RIS Info Sports and GMA Pinoy TV now available

WINNIPEG , Feb. 11 /CNW/ - MTS today announced three exciting new features for its Ultimate TV service: Winter Sports Picks, Galaxie Access and new channels for customers, RIS Info Sports, a French language service dedicated entirely to sports news, and GMA Pinoy TV, a 24-hour Filipino channel that offers viewers the most popular shows in the Philippines . These new features and channels for MTS Ultimate TV help to keep it as one of the best TV viewing experiences in Canada .

Winter Sports Picks is a limited time promotion that lets you watch several sports channels on one TV screen. Customers can watch one program in the main viewing area while keeping an eye on up to three other channels at the same time. MTS is pleased to offer two versions of Winter Sports Picks, one with English programming and the second with French and several other language channels. Winter Sports Picks is available free of charge to all MTS Ultimate TV customers until March 15, 2010 .

Galaxie Access, channel 600 on MTS Ultimate TV, allows you to see the current title track and artist, as well as upcoming music on the Galaxie Music Channels. This allows our customers to access the music they want faster and in a much more interactive way. Galaxie Access is available free of charge to all MTS Ultimate TV customers.

RIS Info Sports is a French-language service entirely dedicated to sports news. Customers will enjoy a Free Preview on this channel from January 26 until March 2, 2010 , by tuning to Channel 414.

GMA Pinoy TV offers the whole family the most popular shows in the Philippines including top-calibre entertainment, blockbuster movies, telenovelas and variety shows, hard-hitting news and public affairs programs, and comedies. GMA Pinoy TV is available on channel 507. A free preview of GMA Pinoy TV is available for all customers until March 1, 2010 .
