Mr. Hall A. Tingley announces acquisition of common shares of BioteQ Environmental Technologies Inc.
TORONTO, May 21, 2014 /CNW/ - Mr. Hall A. Tingley announced that on May 8, 2014, he acquired beneficial ownership of 2,576,252 common shares ("Common Shares") of BioteQ Environmental Technologies Inc. ("BioteQ") representing 2.7% of the issued and outstanding Common Shares by way of a cross trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange (the "TSX"), at a price of $0.05 per share. Subsequently, on May 14, 2014, Great Global Holdings Ltd. ("Great Global"), a corporation controlled by Mr. Tingley, acquired beneficial ownership of 500,000 Common Shares representing 0.5% of the issued and outstanding Common Shares through market purchases on the TSX at an average price of $0.0475 per share. Following the May 8, 2014 acquisition, Mr. Tingley had direct beneficial ownership of 9,814,726 Common Shares and indirect beneficial ownership of 1,883,182 Common Shares beneficially owned by Quig Holdings Inc. ("Quig Holdings"), a corporation controlled by Mr. Tingley, collectively representing 12.45% of the issued and outstanding Common Shares. Following the May 14, 2014 acquisition, Mr. Tingley has direct beneficial ownership of 9,814,726 Common Shares and indirect beneficial ownership of 1,883,182 Common Shares beneficially owned by Quig Holdings and 500,000 Common Shares beneficially owned by Great Global, collectively representing 12.98% of the issued and outstanding Common Shares.
The Common Shares were acquired for investment purposes. Mr. Tingley believes the Common Shares are undervalued and an attractive investment. Depending on various factors, including general market and economic conditions and other available investment opportunities, Mr. Tingley may acquire additional Common Shares or dispose of Common Shares from time to time.
