Movember and EA Sports Join Forces for Men's Mental Health and Suicide Prevention

YouTube Gaming Star Spencer FC Holds 24 Hour Gaming Live Stream to Raise Funds for Men's Health

TORONTO, Nov. 4, 2016 /CNW/ - What do you get when one of the biggest YouTube stars in the world teams up with one of the biggest gaming companies in the world to support the leading men's health organization in the world? 

Spencer FC x EA Sports x Movember are coming together to raise funds and awareness to support men's mental health and suicide prevention programs funded through Movember.

This year, EA Sports has stepped up their Movember game and will be donating $200,000 to the Foundation, along with starting their own fundraising network on Movember.com and recruiting gamers to join the EA Sports team.  

Along with EA Sports, comes the newest member of the Movember team - Spencer FC. As one of the leading YouTubers in the gaming world (with 1.9 million YouTube subscribers), he'll be live streaming his 24-hour gaming marathon from 5:00PM on Friday, November 4th to 5:00PM on Saturday, November 5th, 2016 to raise funds and awareness for a great cause.

This is just one of the many innovative ways that Movember is working with incredible partners to raise awareness and funds for men's health, focused on mental health, suicide prevention, testicular and prostate cancer.

EA SPORTS X MOVEMBER
Here's what's on the horizon for Movember and EA Sports:

MADDEN NFL 17
From November 9 – 15, jump into Madden Ultimate Team to grab "Most Beard" Movember player packs. Madden Ultimate Team will be giving away an elite 87 OVR Movember player to all users who log in between November 9 and 15, as well as releasing a set giving players a chance to upgrade 10 gold players to 1 elite player. Most Beard players are guaranteed in the Movember packs only, so be sure to jump in to snag your favorite bearded Madden NFL 17 players where packs are available.

NHL 17
From November 1st to December 1st, you can find new Movember player items in packs each week and complete Movember Sets using limited time Collectibles found in special Movember packs. You can use the Movember Collectibles towards earning new Movember Epic Player Item Sets each week. And if you complete all eight Movember Epic Sets, you can earn the Movember Master Set, unlocking on November 22nd!

UFC 17 
Each week of November, new Movember fighter items will be released in the limited Movember pack. All Movember items start at Level 3, and will boost to a Level 4 or Level 5 barring real world fight results in November.

There will be new fighters available every week. Get started with Conor McGregor, Tyron Woodley and more! 

FIFA 17
Joining the month long celebration are footballers from around the world, including Zlatan Ibrahimović, Blaise Matuidi and Alexandre Lazazette. Participating players will be recognized in FUT with brand new special edition Movember items, available until Nov 30th.
