Motorcycle Show-Toronto rides into the Direct Energy Centre February 20-22

TORONTO, Feb. 13, 2015 /CNW/ - Next week, Toronto will be center-stage for Canada's motorcycle industry as the world's top brands showcase their newest products to enthusiasts at the Direct Energy Centre, Exhibition Place, during the Motorcycle Show-Toronto presented by Dalton Timmis Insurance, Friday, February 20 to Sunday, February 22.

This is the 28th edition of Ontario's biggest motorcycle manufacturers' show, and much like the auto show, this will be the first opportunity for enthusiasts to see the new 2015 motorcycle, ATV, side-by-side and scooter models that will be on sale at dealerships when the spring riding season rolls around.

In addition to the 400+ bikes on display, there's a wide-range of exciting features, plus the latest in apparel, accessories and touring destinations, in a space equal to three-and-a-half football fields, all under one roof.

This year's Show features include:

America's Queen of Speed, Valerie Thompson - A seven-time land speed record holder (with a career best of 350.35 kph) and one of the fastest females on two-wheels, Thompson is at the Toronto Show on Friday only as part of the She Rides Nite celebration, and will meet fans at the BMW Motorrad display throughout the Friday.

She Rides Nite (Friday, February 20) - Women make up the fastest-growing segment of motorcycling. This is an evening of celebration for women who ride and those considering the sport. In addition to guest speakers and special draws, ladies will get half-price admission to the Show after 5 pm.

Team Empire Freestyle Stunt Team - American stunt masters  Nick "Apex" Brocha and Aaron Twite will showcase their streetbike freestyle stunt-riding prowess during all three days of the Show. Brocha has built a large online following, where his popular chase adventure videos have totaled 100 million YouTube hits.
