Liisa took the modelling world by storm when she became the Gucci "It" Girl landing three consecutive contracts in 1999 & 2000. Liisa started at Mode Elle Model & Talent Agency in 1993 at the age of 15. Described as "Breathtakingly beautiful" by Tom Ford , Gucci's then designer and creative director, Liisa entered the world of the supermodel, modelling side by side with Naomi Campbell , Tyra Banks , Gisele Bundchen, Amber Valletta , Shalom Harlow & Kate Moss .
