FrançaisRogers Celebrates with Free Rides and Surprise Giveaways
VANCOUVER, BC, Sept. 15, 2026 /CNW/ -- Rogers Communications and Vancouver Bike Share today announced the renewal of their partnership, ensuring Mobi by Rogers continues to help people get where they need to go with a seamless, efficient and affordable bike share system.
For the past decade, Mobi by Rogers has helped transform how people move around Vancouver, making it easier than ever to commute, connect with friends, explore neighbourhoods and enjoy the city on two wheels. Since launching in 2016, riders have taken more than 8.8 million trips, travelled over 26.2 million kilometres, and helped make cycling an increasingly popular transportation choice across Vancouver and UBC.
"For 10 years, Vancouverites have embraced Mobi by Rogers as a fun, convenient and sustainable way to get around the city, and we're thrilled to continue that journey together," said Terrie Tweddle, Chief Brand and Communications Officer, Rogers. "This renewal is about more than extending a partnership. It's about investing in the future of mobility in Vancouver and celebrating the riders who have made Mobi such a success."
To mark the three-year renewal beginning in 2027, Rogers is giving away 200,000 minutes of free rides throughout the rest of the year to connect riders across the city. In addition, for each of the next three years, Rogers will be giving away annual passes, thousands of free ride minutes to special events and surprise giveaways at community pop-ups.
