Michaels Stores Canada partners with the AIR MILES Reward Program

Canadian crafters can now paint, bake and create their way to AIR MILES reward miles

TORONTO, Aug. 17, 2012 /CNW/ - Beginning August 19, Michaels, North America's largest specialty retailer of arts and crafts products, will begin to offer AIR MILES reward miles to Collectors across the country. Canadian crafters can now earn AIR MILES reward miles for being the masters of their own creations and earn one reward mile for every $25 spent, accumulated monthly, at more than 90 Michaels locations across Canada.

"Our 10 million active AIR MILES Collectors have different tastes and preferences, and the exciting addition of Michaels brings another unique and diverse opportunity for Canadians to earn reward miles in the specialty retail category."

Michaels has a wide variety of products that are perfect for every season and occasion. Need some guidance to begin a new project? Michaels also runs specialty events and classes on a range of fun activities, from jewelry making to cake decorating.

To celebrate its new partnership with AIR MILES, Michaels is offering AIR MILES Collectors double the reward miles when they spend $40 or more on products, such as arts and crafts supplies, custom framing, floral, wall décor and seasonal merchandise, from August 19 to September 1, 2012.
