Metagenics Names Brent Eck as New President and CEO

ALISO VIEJO, Calif., Nov. 2, 2015 /CNW/ -- Metagenics, Inc., a global pioneer in science-based nutrition and wellness, today named Brent Eck as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. Eck is an accomplished leader who joins Metagenics with an entrepreneurial spirit combined with a strong legacy in launching new products and bringing new innovations to market through effective sales and marketing strategies. He spent the last 13 years in global leadership roles at Fresenius Kabi, a global healthcare company that specializes in clinical nutrition. Most recently, he served as executive vice president with responsibility for US sales, marketing, and business development.

Eck earned his bachelors' degree in mathematics and computer science at Loyola University Chicago.  He will be based at Metagenics' headquarters in Aliso Viejo, CA.
