Mercator Transport obtains approval to service oil industry in Ghana

LAVAL, QC, Dec. 8 /CNW Telbec/ - (Mercator Transport Group Corporation ("Mercator Transport") is proud to announce that Mercator Ghana Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary, has obtained a permit from the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation ("GNPC") to provide services to this West African country's oil industry.

Companies desirous to obtain contracts relating to oil exploration and exploitation in Ghana must demonstrate authorities that they are meeting governmental standards, including those relating to health, safety and the environment. The permit obtained by Mercator Transport allows it to now provide services to businesses operating in this sector, building on Mercator Transport's development in West Africa.
