Veteran Studio, Marketing and Digital Luminary to Lead New Digital Media Company
LOS ANGELES, CA, June 12, 2013 /CNW/ - MeeMee Media Inc. (the "Company" or "MeeMee") (OTCQB: MEME) has appointed Ira Rubenstein to the Board of Directors and as the Company's new CEO effective immediately. Mr. Rubenstein brings an exceptional track record of over 20 years working in digital and studio media. Together with Executive Chairman, Martin Doane, he will set the strategy and vision for the Company. Mr. Rubenstein will be responsible for overseeing all operations and for the execution of the Company's business plan.
Mr. Rubenstein, who will be based in MeeMee's Los Angeles offices, has been a pioneer of digital media in the largest Hollywood studios, holding executive positions with major companies in the entertainment and digital media and marketing sectors. His most recent posting was as Executive Vice President, Digital Marketing for 20th Century Fox. Prior to that Mr. Rubenstein was Executive Vice President, Global Digital Media Group of Marvel Entertainment/The Walt Disney Company where he managed a divisional turnaround while growing revenues significantly. Rubenstein has also held key leadership positions at Sony Corp. of America and Sony Pictures.

Rubenstein has built a career on identifying and implementing new marketing and distribution tactics for entertainment properties through interactive, online and mobile initiatives.
At Fox, Rubenstein implemented ground breaking social and mobile digital marketing campaigns for PROMETHEUS, CHRONICLE, and RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES.
At Marvel, Rubenstein was responsible for overseeing all digital efforts for the company including launching the award winning Marvel Digital Comic Book app that continues to lead the industry. Rubenstein also managed the growth of Marvel's digital distribution of comic books and video assets, as well as growth in the mobile game space. Mr. Rubenstein also was responsible for Marvel's early efforts in social media across Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
During his time at Sony Pictures Digital, Rubenstein was responsible for overseeing the division's production efforts to extend Sony Pictures properties into the digital marketplace through SonyPictures.com, mobile games and personalization products, casual games, and innovative strategic partnerships. Mr. Rubenstein managed the digital growth of the studio's most important brands including Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! - leading the expansion of these properties into broadband, interactive television, mobile, and the PSP and PS3 platforms. In addition, Rubenstein oversaw production for all Sony Pictures properties breaking into the growing mobile marketplace, developing an array of successful mobile entertainment offerings including the award-winning Spider-Man 2: The Hero Returns and Ratchet and Clank: Going Mobile, as well as the first movies for mobile phones on memory cards.
Mr. Rubenstein received a B.A. in Management Science from UC San Diego and is a graduate of the Peter Stark Producing Program at USC.
