Québec's sick children - This weekend: A 48-HOUR RIDE to benefit the
Make-A-Wish Québec Foundation!

MONTREAL, Sept. 17 /CNW Telbec/ - Mr. Steve Aikins, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Make-A-Wish Québec Foundation, Mrs. Jocelyne Vautour, Executive Director, and the members of the organizing committee are pleased to invite media representatives and all those concerned by the plight of Québec's children with life-threatening medical conditions to the start of the 48-HOUR RIDE, the Foundation's main fundraising campaign.

The first pedal turns will occur Friday, September 18, at noon, with the participation of the 40 teams of six cyclists each and the hundreds of friends on hand to encourage these brave cyclists and support Québec children with life-threatening conditions whose courage can only inspire us all to surpass ourselves.

For a third consecutive year, it is on the Gilles-Villeneuve Circuit of Jean-Drapeau Park, in parking area P4 near the paddocks, that our 240 cyclists await you.

The ceremony to kick off this unique event will be hosted by well-known imitator and master of ceremonies Mr. Nicolas Landré.
