CALGARY, May 12, 2014 /CNW/ - This documentary follows the journey of a group of high school basketball coaches who decide to make a radical difference where it's needed: The inner city schools of Calgary.
The film explores the 'Social deficit' in SE Calgary' contrasting communities. Adam Woodward and Dave Wilder, founders of The Big Give focus on the variation in social and financial constraints in the lives of student athletes. Their project aims to prove that developing the proper infrastructure in places that need it most not only keeps kids out of trouble, but teaches them to overcome adversity; a big step towards a better life.
