Media invitation - Women speak on austerity: decline of living conditions - Presentation of a report and launch of the women's centres' week of actions against austerity Français
MONTREAL, April 1, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - The president of the L'R des centres de femmes du Québec (L'R), Carolle Mathieu, will address the media at a press conference and present the results of a provincial report, conducted between January and December 2015, on the impacts of austerity measures on the living conditions of women. This report will launch the women's centres' week of actions against austerity.
Personal testimonies of women and the research report will also be commented by allies of women's centers, based on their expertise. The women's centres' week of actions against austerity measures, with thirteen regions of Quebec mobilized, will also be explained. Members of the opposition responsible for the status of women should also be available to ensure a follow-up.
