Media Invitation - Experience the Glittering World of Fireflies with Bearers of Light

MONTRÉAL, June 10, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Montréal Space for Life invites media representatives to an original immersive experience with Bearers of Light, at the Insectarium. Surrounded by clouds of virtual fireflies, they can become bearers of light themselves and send their own messages using the insects' fascinating bioluminescent language.

Artistic Director Mathieu Le Sourd and Étienne Paquette, the co-designers and co-producers of the installation, will be on hand to describe the genesis of the idea for Bearers of Light. The Insectarium team will present the fireflies that inspired the concept and explain the phenomena of bioluminescence and phosphorescence.
