Media Invitation - Children's Day 2016: a Great Food Drive for Children's event aiming to raise awareness

MONTREAL, April 1, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - Moisson Montréal, Moisson Rive-Sud and the Centre de bénévolat et moisson Laval invites the media to Children's Day (#JDE) to be held this Saturday, April 2nd from 9 am to 1 pm, in Moisson Montréal's warehouse.

For the first time, Moisson Montréal opens its doors to the public. The food bank will be transformed in an urban sugar shack for a day to hold a family event – already sold out – where 200 people are expected. A family volunteering activity and a brunch with Bob le Chef are scheduled.

Let us recall that 18,000 little ones aged 0-5 years suffer from hunger in the greater Montreal region  each month. Until April 9th, the public is invited to make a monetary donation by visiting the website
