TORONTO , Nov. 26 /CNW/ - Media representatives are cordially invited to attend the 15th annual Canadian Investment Awards and Gala at the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto on Wednesday December 2, 2009 . The Canadian Investment Awards recognize leading investment products and firms illustrating a commitment to excellence within the Canadian financial services industry.

    
    WHAT:  It is the only time each year in Canada that the industry comes
    together to select top performers. The event attracts over 600 guests
    annually and represents the year long work of over 30 firms, 40 senior
    analysts and expert jury members researching and ranking 50 categories
    and is supported by over 20 principal sponsors.

    6-8pm: Reception and dinner in a dine-around atmosphere - Ballroom
    (Convention Level)

    8-9:30pm: Awards show - Canadian Room (Convention Level)
    Guests are seated at reserved tables of 10 while awards and speeches are
    presented. The theme for the event, in line with the awards' vision, is
    "Long-Term Investing."
