OTTAWA, Oct. 3, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Ottawa hosts its first Big Fashion Sale by Quebec Designers this Friday to Sunday at the Ernst & Young Centre.
Better known in Montreal and Quebec City as the "Braderie", where it attracts 45 000 visitors, the show features more than 60 of Quebec's brightest fashion stars along with several local talents. The participating designers get to liquidate their samples and overstock with discounts up to 80%. Admission is free.
Headliners include Rudsak, one of Canada's leading leather fashion brands, Target Emerging Designer winner Melissa Nepton, premium quality denim brand Second Yoga Jeans, fashion idol Ralph Leroy and popular Against Nudity. Thieves by Sonja den Elzen and Jana & Emilia are also part of the event, in a concerted effort to promote local design.
Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Ottawa Big Fashion Sale is presented by Anne de Shalla, in partnership with the Ottawa Fashion Week, LOULOU, Metro and 94,9 Rouge FM.
