Media Availability - OPSEU President to comment on LCBO sell-off plans

TORONTO, March 8 /CNW/ - Warren (Smokey) Thomas, President of the Ontario Public Service Employees Union, will attend today's provincial Speech from the Throne and will be available for comment afterward.

Of particular interest to OPSEU are rumours that the McGuinty government plans to partially privatize the Liquor Control Board of Ontario and other Crown agencies.

United Steelworker economist Erin Weir, who has written extensively on privatization, will also be available for comment.
