Media Alert - Promenade Shopping Centre's Jeans n' Jewels event celebrates
completion of $46 million renovation

    What:    Jeans n' Jewels is an exclusive gala VIP shopping event
             benefiting the neighbourhoods directly affected by the Vaughn
             tornadoes of August 20th. The event, hosted by Fashion
             Television's Mary Kitchen, will include gourmet goodies, a wine
             tasting, entertainment by Janice Hagen, one-night only discounts
             and a silent art auction. Works from acclaimed Canadian artists
             including Bob Amirault, Annette Blady, Frankie Ip, Bill Beard,
             Jill Segal, Bonnie Steinberg, Stephanie Beard and Al Van Mil,
             will be sold with proceeds used to purchase trees and restore
             neighbourhood streetscapes destroyed in affected areas through
             the City of Vaughan Communities in Bloom program.
