Local Edelman PR team rallies for Toronto non-profit Street-to-Trail Saturday June 16th to raise funds to replace stolen canoe
TORONTO, June 16, 2012 /CNW/ - Last Thursday, a VIC (Very Important Canoe) went missing from a backyard in Toronto. This wasn't just any canoe - this canoe belonged to Street to Trail, an organization that takes people living on the streets of Toronto on wilderness trips to experience the therapy of nature and find support to overcome their addictions, find new, meaningful relationships, and re-discover lost feelings of peace and hope.
As part of Edelman's annual CSR program The Little Give, one Edelman team is rallying the community to fundraise for a new canoe. The team's goal is to raise $2,000.
