Media Alert - Cassels Brock & Blackwell lawyer wins inaugural Lexpert Zenith

    Who:      Alison Manzer, a partner in the Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP
              Financial Services Group, last night received the Lexpert
              Zenith Award. Ms. Manzer has been recognized in the Canadian
              Legal Lexpert Directory each year starting with its first
              publication in 1997.

              She is a member of the Association of Commercial Finance
              Attorneys, based in New York. She is also one of very few
              Canadians elected to The American College of Commercial Finance
              Lawyers.

    What:     The Lexpert Zenith Award celebrates leading women lawyers. Only
              22 women have been selected to receive this prestigious award,
              in its inaugural year.

              The Zenith Awards were established to honour a select group of
              senior women lawyers who have made outstanding contributions to
              the practice and business of law. The award includes a
              mentoring program, which allows young women lawyers to learn
              from the Zenith recipients.

    When:     The Lexpert Zenith Awards were held last night (October 15,
              2009) at the Royal York Hotel.
