... to raise awareness and funds to fight Chronic Kidney Disease and enjoy a well-deserved grooming break
TORONTO, Aug. 16, 2012 /CNW/ - WorldRiderZ is the story of Stéphane Etienne, a 35-year-old father whose life was shattered when his son Ilhan was born with severe kidney disease. With an incredible drive to do something positive, he set out with his friend, Paul Torriero, on an ambitious bike journey that has so far seen them ride from Sydney to Paris, crossing 9 countries and 25,000km. WorldRiderZ are now on the second leg of their journey, a 3 month adventure and another 25,000 km on the road. After crossing France and the UK, bikes were flown to Vancouver, departure line for the team to cross Canada. A stop-over is scheduled in Toronto on August 20th at 1:30 p.m., before heading down to New York.
During their Toronto stop-over, the boys will visit the L'OCCITANE boutique, 102 Bloor Street West where they will be pampered with mini facials and treated to hand massages to ensure they're all set for the rest of their ride. They will be able to top-up their 'official' L'OCCITANE travel survival kit to ensure that they remain in shape every step of the way.
L'OCCITANE Toronto Bloor Boutique will donate 15% of the daily sales to WorldRiderZ' charity. Customers are invited to stop by, encourage the riders and support the cause. Seven team members including Stephane Etienne, Paul Torriero, one producer, two cameramen and a photographer will be on location as they are filming their journey for the Discovery Channel.
