Recycling Drive at 2010 Calgary Go Green Expo
Calgary residents encouraged to recycle unwanted electronics
CALGARY, March 22 /CNW/ -
What: Samsung Electronics Canada is hosting a community e-waste
recycling event at the 2010 Calgary Go Green Expo. Calgary
residents are encouraged to participate in the Samsung
Recycling Direct(TM) program by gathering unwanted electronics,
such as TVs, VCRs and computer monitors, and bringing them to
the Go Green Expo or dropping them curbside for recycling.
The program is a partnership between Samsung, the Go Green Expo
and Global Electric Electronic Processing (GEEP). GEEP recovers
valuable commodities from e-waste with a zero landfill
objective using its proprietary software and recycling
equipment technology. For more information about the event and
