What: Members of the newly-formed proudTOvote will unveil a giant, rainbow ballot box at Toronto's City Hall in a bid to encourage LGBTQ voters to vote for a mayor who is proud of them in the upcoming municipal election. proudTOvote will also speak about the LGBTQ mayors debate on September 19th to which the four leading candidates have been invited.

When: Thursday, September 4, 2014 - 10 a.m.
Who - John Clifford and Christine Wilson, co-spokespeople for proudTOvote, will be on hand to discuss the formation of the organization and what it hopes to accomplish in the October 27th municipal election.
Why - ProudTOvote was formed recently to mobilize members of the LGBTQ community and its supporters to be engaged in events and activities that impact them as citizens of Toronto and emphasize the importance of voting in the upcoming municipal election.
As an organization proudTOvote wants to have a mayor the LGBTQ community can be proud of and who is proud of us.
