Media Advisory/Photo Opportunity - Daily Bread will distribute lettuce growing kits, thanks to Scotts Canada

TORONTO, May 13, 2013 /CNW/ -

WHAT:	Scotts Canada Limited has donated 2,000 lettuce growing kits that Daily Bread will be distributing out to a number of food banks across the city. On Monday, Daily Bread and Scotts Canada will be handing them out at Daily Bread's onsite food bank.
	Many people coming to a food bank don't have access to a backyard space or a garden. These kits are meant to provide people with an easy way to start learning how to grow their own food in a container that they can use on a balcony or windowsill. It's an easy way to add more fresh vegetables in to their home and onto their tables.
